I am Gairy Mahadeo, and my life's purpose is to help others find theirs. As a Purpose and Transformation Coach, I have a pretty simplistic outlook on life that some might consider ridiculously optimistic. (Maybe that's only because they don't yet know what I know.)
While I might have been blessed with this gift from birth, there were many reasons that would cause any "normal" person to abandon this cheery outlook. In fact, I used to wear "suffering" as a badge of honor. The more I would endure on my own, the more I would tell myself that I was getting stronger. And sure, there is some merit to being resilient, but what actually started happening was more insidious - I began identifying with being alone and having to figure everything out myself. It wasn't until I was serendipitously drawn to coaching (and after scores of people over the years asking why I wasn't doing it professionally) that I realized that my limiting beliefs about my capacity was keeping me from achieving what I truly wanted out of life. After having experienced what coaching has done for me, I cannot imagine the thought of others suffering in the dark needlessly. Let me hold a light for you. I know how special you are, and the world deserves to see that as well. If you feel comfortable around kind-hearted, highly empathetic, sometimes super silly, and passionately purpose-driven people, then I can't wait to meet you.
